The hybridisation of Ni in [NiCl4]^(2-) for I know is sp^3.....

in Nicl4 the central atom ni , whoose valence shell configuration in free state is 3d8,4s0, 4p0 .

as cl are weak ligand , and arrengement of eight 3d electron in ni 2+ ion and in (nicl4)2-

ion will remain same . thus , it have SP3 hybridisation which have tetradehdral geometry . and are paramagnetic in nature ,

while in the case of (PDCL4) 2- It will be dsp2 hybridisation , and the structure is

square bipyramidal ......

Hope it helps....
