Hardy Schulze law. It states that: Greater the valency of the flocculating ion, greater will be its coagulation power.

higher the charge on oppositely charged ion greater is its coagulating power. For example, the coagulation power of different cations for coagulating a negatively charged sol of As2S3 follows the order.
