Answer:

75  vessels can be filled with the water

Step-by-step explanation:

no of vessels = volume of water / volume of small vessel

volume of water = volume of large vessel = πr²h

h1 = 24 cm, diameter = 40cm so, radius= 20cm

                           volume  of   large vessel = π*20²*24 = 30159 cm³ - - - - (1)

volume of small vessel = πr²h

h2 = 10 cm, diameter = 8cm, so. radius =4cm

volume of small vessel = π*4²*8 = 402cm² - - - - (2)

no of vessels = 30159 / 402 = 75 vessels

Let, there are n small cylindrical bottles which can be filled with the vessel's water

Now, according to the question :

n × π r^2×h = π R^2H

Here, R = 40/2 = 20 cm. And H = 24 cm.

r = 8/2 = 4 cm. And h = 10 cm.

Now, n = πR^2H/πr^2h

=> n = (20×20×24)/(4×4×10)

=> n = 60

So, 60 bottles can be filled with the water ✔

I hope it will help you ☺
