By pythogoras' theorem,
12*12+x/2*x/2=37*37
144+xsquare = 37*37=1369
xsquare = 1369-144=1225
x= sq. root of 1225 = 35
x/2=35
x=70

In this isosceles triangle, triangle is divided into two right triangles.
In a right triangle by, pythogoras theorem :-
the sum of the square of 2 side is equal to the square of pytogorean (longest) side.
==> 37^2 = 12^2 + x/2^2
==> 1369 = 144 + x/2^2
==> x/2^2 = 1369-144
==> x/2^2 = 1225
==> x/2 = root 1225
==> x/2 = 35
==> x = 35×2
==> x = 70 Ans
