I write the steps here

1.  multiply numerator and denominator in the integrand by √[a² - x²]
2.  substitute  x² = t
3.  Separate two terms  : a² dt / √ ...     and   - t dt / √ ...
4.  first term:   substitute  t/a² = y
5.  answer will be   1/2 Sin⁻¹ (t/a²)  +  1/2* √[a⁴ - t²]

So answer is  (B)
