Hey ❤️ here is your answer ⤵️

Answer :

  • Option (5). velocity = 10 m/s
  • Option (2) Momentum = 50 kg.m/s

Given :

Kinetic Energy ( K.E. ) = 250 J.

Mass of the body = 5 kg.

Using Formula :

  • \sf K.E. = \frac{1}{2} × m × v² \\

Where,

 \longrightarrow m = Mass

 \longrightarrow v = Velocity

  • Momentum (p) = mv

Where,

 \longrightarrow m = Mass

 \longrightarrow v = Velocity

Solution :

For velocity ,

  • \sf K.E. = \frac{1}{2} × m × v² \\

  • \sf 250 = \frac{1}{2} × 5 × v² \\

  • \sf 250 × 2 = 5 × v² \\

  • \sf 500 = 5 × v² \\

  • \sf \frac{500}{5} = v² \\

  • \sf \frac{\cancel{500}^{\: \: \cancel5 × 100}}{\cancel5} = v² \\

  • \sf 100 = v² \\

  • \sf v = \sqrt{100} \\

  • \sf \underline{\boxed{v = 10 \: \: m/s}} \\

For momentum ,

  • p = m v

  • p = 5 × 10

  • \sf \underline{\boxed{p = 50 \: \: kg.m/s}} \\

I hope it helps you ❤️✔️
