Multiplying both nr. and dr. by 1-sinA we get
(1-sinA)²/1-sin²A
1+sin²A-2sinA/cos²A ( since 1-sin²A = cos²A)
Now separating the terms we get
1/cos²A+sin²A/cos²A-2sinA/cos²
sec²A+tan²A-2 tanA secA which is nothing but (secA-tanA)²
(1-sinA)²/1-sin²A
1+sin²A-2sinA/cos²A ( since 1-sin²A = cos²A)
Now separating the terms we get
1/cos²A+sin²A/cos²A-2sinA/cos²
sec²A+tan²A-2 tanA secA which is nothing but (secA-tanA)²
