For parallel part:-

1/R = 1/R¹ + 1/R²

= 1/6 + 1/6

= 2/6 = 1/3.

Now, Its series:-

R = R¹ + R²

= 6 + 1/3

= 18 + 1/3 = 19/3 = 6.3 ohm ans.
