Sol. Area of the garden = Area of the outer square

 Area of the inner rectangle

= 25 × 25 m2  20 × 15 m2

(625  300) m2 = 325 m2

Cost of developing a garden @ Rs. 55 per sq. meter

= Rs. (55 × 325) = Rs. 17875

Answer:

\large \underline{\boxed{17,875rs}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

•In square plot of length 25m a house has to be constructed, now around the house a garden is constructed with a rate of 55rs per m sqr.

We need to find the cost for developing the garden.

According To Question

Area of garden = area of square plot - area of house

  • That is -

>> Area square plot = Side × Side

= 25m × 25m

\underline{\mathsf{= 625 {m}^{2}}}

>> Area of house = Length × Breadth

= 15m × 20m

\underline{\mathsf{=\: 300 {m}^{2}}}

>>Thus now area of garden =

Area of square plot - area of house

\underline{\mathsf{=\: 625 {m}^{2} - 300 {m}^{2}= 325 m^2 }}

Now cost for developing garden =

Area of garden × Rate per m sqr

= 325 × 55 = ₹17,875

Therefore required answer =

\boxed{\underline{17,875rs}}

Thanks a lot ❤
