according to the first condition

according to the second condition

so x-y=-2 (2)

adding (1) and (2)

we get

2x=6

ie x=3

so substituting value of x in any of two equations

we get y=5

so our assumed two digit number=10x+y

=(10×3)+5

=30+5

=35

thus the required two digit number is 35
