u = -infinity (distant object)
Radius of curvature = 1m
Focal length = R/2 = -0.5 m (f is negative for concave mirror)
1/f = 1/v +1/u
1/v = 1/f -1/u
= -1/0.5+1/infinity
= -2 + 0 (1/infinity is zero)
-2m
so v = -1/2 = -0.5
Image is formed 0.5m in front of mirror I. e if object is at infinity distance image will be formed at focal point and is real and inverted because negative sign
