So 3/5 - x ( considering it as 1 )

So,

=> 2/5 of 1/4x

=> x/10

Now sum of remainder left and amount he spends

=> 3/5x + x/10

=> 7x/10 or 7/10x

Now subtracting,

=> 7/10x - x

=> 3/10x

Amount the boy was left at the end = 15

=> 3/10x = 15

=> x = 15 x 10/3

=> x = Rs 50
