i) u = 18 km/h = 18000 m/h = m/s = 5 m/s
ii) v = u + at
0 = 18 + a(5)
5a = -18
a = -3.6 m/s²
retardation = 3.6 m/s²
iii) v = u + at = 18+(-3.6)2 = 18-7.2 = 10.8 m/s

density(ρ) = mass/volume
density of water = 1000 kg/m³
volume = mass/density of water = 1.5/1000 = 0.0015 m³
buoyancy force (F) = density(ρ) x g x volume displaced(V)

= 9.8 x 1.5
= 14.7 N
