Yes , there was a change in Cory's behavior at the end of the Shambala's trip , before Cory was very bitter and angry because he dreamed of becoming a major league baseball player until he lost his leg to an accident. Cory was shocked and inspired by Subira's skills , he thought that he too could think of another dream and lead a better life.
