In ΔABC AB = AC

This implies ∠ABC = ∠ACB (Because angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are equal)

Now, in ΔBDC and Δ CEB

             ∠DCB = ∠ EBC

                   BC = BC

             ∠CBD = ∠ BCE

=>  ΔBDC ≅ Δ CEB using ASA congruence condition

now BD = CE using CPCTE

and CD = BE

CA + AD = BA + AE

we know that AB = AC (given)

=> AD = AE
