so marks in second test = x + 10

From the given condition
5(x + 10) = x^2
x^2 - 5x - 50 = 0
x^2 + 5x - 10x - 50 = 0
x(x+5) - 10(x + 5) = 0

hence x = 10 or -5

Marks in first test = 10
Marks in second test = 10 + 10= 20
