Hey there

MARK AS BRAINLIST

If the answer helps you

Let's start

QUESTION - Find the terms of AP in the given data

Answer -

Let the three terms of AP be

(a-3d),(a),(a+3d)

Now its given that the sum of these is 21

Then

A-3d+a+a+3d=21

Then

3a=21

A=7

Now we know the value of A

Then

Product of 1st and third exceed the second by 6

Which means

(a-3d)(a+3d)=a+6

A square+3ad-3ad-9d square =a+6

A square + 9d square = a+6

Putting the value of a we get

7 *7+ 9d square =7+6

49+9d square =13

9d square = 13-49

9d square = - 36

D square = - 4

D = 2

Looks like i did something wrong

Np

If we take d=2

Then our number will be

(7-3*2)=1

(a)=7

(7+6)=13
