step-by-step explanation:

(a) Using the determinants formula, we get

sinA {sin^2A -(-Cos^2A)} + CosA{Cos^2A-(-Sin^2A)}

simplifying,

we get,

= sinA ( sin^2A+ cos^2A ) + cosA ( cos^2A +sin^2A)

But,

sin^2A + cos^2A = 1

Putting this value we get,

sinA×1 + cos A × 1

= sinA + cosA

-----------------------------------

(b) Since, M is present on X- axis,

therefore,

its coordinate is (x,0)

and,

N is present on Y - axis,

therefore,

its coordinate is (0,y)

now,

P(3,2) divides MN in the ratio 2:3

so, by section formula,

we have,

(2×0 + 3x)/5 = 3

=> 3x = 15

=> x = 5

and,

(2y + 3×0)/5 = 2

=> 2y = 10

=> y = 5

so,

(i) the coordinates of pts.

M (x,0) = (5,0)

N( 0,y) = (0,5)

(ii) slope of the line

since,

M(x,0) and N(0,y) are on the line,

therefore, by slope formula,

we get,

slope = (y-0)/(0-x)

= (5-0)/(0-5)

= 5 / -5

= -5 / 5

= -1
