1st find the area of semi circle having diameter/base as 8cm now the radius is 4cm .

then area of semicircle =

\pi {r}^{2} \:  \div 2

so ,now area =

 \frac{22}{7}  \times 4 \times 4 \div 2 =  \frac{176}{7}

then,find the area of another semicircle having diameter 6cm and radius =3cm .

area =

 \frac{22}{7}  \times 3 \times 3 \div 2 =  \frac{198}{21}

now find the area of big semicircle ABC

area of shaded region = area of both small semicircle - area of big semicircle.
