Answer-

For the value  k=\frac{5}{2}  the pair of linear equations won't have any solution.

Solution-

The given equations are,

6x+5y=11\\3x+ky=7

We know that the two linear equations  a_1x+b_1y=c_1\ and\ a_2x+b_2y=c_2 will have no solution, when

\frac{a_1}{a_2}=\frac{b_1}{b_2}

It happens because, when two lines are parallel then they won't intersect each other so they won't have any solution.

Putting the values we get,

\Rightarrow \frac{6}{3}=\frac{5}{k}

\Rightarrow k=\frac{15}{6}

\Rightarrow k=\frac{5}{2}
