Time period of a simple pendulum is given by,

T = 2\pi \sqrt{ \frac{l}{g} }

Time period remaining constant,

l \propto \: g

g on moon = 1/6 of g on earth.

So Length of seconds pendulum on moon = 1/6 of length of seconds pendulum on earth.

Required length = 100/6 cm = 16.6 cm

2) The Force of attraction between two bodies is given by,

F =  \frac{Gm _{1}m _{2}}{ {r}^{2} }

Since, G is universal & masses are constant.

If the masses are taken to moon without altering the distance, then the force of attraction between them will remain same.

Required force = 3.335 × 10^-11N
