Answer:

Explanation:

a) Average speed is = Total distance traveled/Total time taken

                                  =18+22+14/3+3+3

                                 = 54/9 = 6 m/s

b) Force = mass×acceleration

              =16 × 3 = 48 N

 Acceleration = Force/mass

                       = 48/24 = 2 m/sec²

c) using conservation of momentum = m_{1} u_{1} +m_{2} u_{2} =m_{1} v_{1} +m_{2} v_{2}

                                                           => 10(1.5) + 0 = (10+900)v2

d) Average speed is = Total distance traveled/Total time taken

                                 =100+80+45/40+40+20

                                 = 225/100 =2.25 m/s

Explanation:

(a) 1st movement=

distance-18m

time -3s

2nd movement=

distance- 22m

time- 3s

3 movement=

distance= 14m

time = 3s

average speed = total distance /time

( time will remain same)

= 17+23+14/3

= 54/3 = 18 m/s
