Answer:

let us take,

cot A= (36x^2-1)/12x

( I am taking theta as A)

from here,

use the formula

cot A = adjacent /opposite formula

so,

split the equation and consider,

adjacent= 36x^2-1

and opposite = 12x

find hypontenuse by pythogoras theorem,

hyp^2=opp^2+ adj^2

=√ (12x) ^2 + (36x^2-1) ^2

=√(144x^2 )+ (1296x^4+1-72x^2)

=√1296x^4+72x^2+1

=√(36^2+1) ^2

by cancelling square and root

hyp=36^2+1 or -(36^2+1)

cosecA= hyp/adj

=36^2+1/12x

cotA+cosecA

=36x^2-1/12x +36x^2-1/12x

=(72x^2)/12x

=6x..

by substituting other value

=(36x^2-1) -(36x^2+1) /12x

=(-2) /12x

by simplification,

= -1/6x

hence proved
