3x/2 - y = 1/4 and x+ y/2 = 1
3x/2-1/4 = y
put the value of y in 2nd equation
equation becomes
x + 1/2{3x/2 - 1/4} = 1
x + 1/2{(6x -1)/4} = 1
x + {(6x -1)/8} = 1
8x + 6x - 1 = 8
14x = 9
x =9/14

Palaktiwari2: plz solve all.questions
hussain036: 10. 3x+y = 4; 2(y-5) = -5x. 2y-10 = -5x. y=(10-5x)/2. so. put this in 2nd equation. 3x+ (10-5x)/2 = 4. so 6x + 10 - 5x = 8. x= 8-10. x= -2. so y = (10 - 5 × -2)/2. (10+10)/2=10
Palaktiwari2: thx bro
hussain036: solve the rest. you can do it.
Palaktiwari2: ya sure
