We will solve every equation one by one.

Cake + Cake - 1 = Ice cream

Also, Cake + Donut = Ice cream

So, Donut = Cake - 1    (5)

Solving 1 -

∵ Cake + Donut = Ice cream

∴ in 1,

2 Ice Cream + Pizza = 24     (6)

Solving 2 and 4 -

We get

2 Cake = Ice cream +1

or, 2 Cake - 1 = Ice cream    (7)

Solving 3 -

We get-

Pizza = Donut + 2

or, Pizza = Cake - 1 +2

or, Pizza = Cake +1     (8)

Putting these in 1, we get -

Cake + @ Cake - 1 + Cake + 1 + Cake - 1 = 24

or, 5 Cake = 24 +1

or, Cake = 5.

Hence, Pizza = Cake +1 = 6

Ice cream = 2 Cake - 1 = 9

and, Donut = Cake - 1 = 4
