Hii ☺ !!

Here is your answer ✓ ✓ ✓ ✓

Side of square ( S ) = 60 cm

Therefore,

Perimeter of square = 4 × Side = 4 × 60 = 240 cm.

And,

Area of square = (Side)² = (60)² = 3600 cm².

Length of rectangle = 80 cm.

Let Breadth of rectangle be X cm.

It is given that perimeter of rectangle is equal to the perimeter of square .

Therefore,

Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of square.

2 ( Length+ Breadth ) = 240

2 ( 80 + X ) = 240

160 + 2x = 240

2x = 240 - 160

2x = 80

x = 40 cm.

Breadth of rectangle = X = 40 cm.

Therefore,

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth = 80 × 40 = 3200 cm².

Hence,

Area of square is more than the area of rectangle by 400 cm².

☺ Hope it will help you ☺
