 \frac{x - 2}{3}  +  \frac{x - 3}{4}  = \frac{x - 1}{2}

 \frac{4x - 8 + 3x - 9}{12}  =  \frac{x - 1}{2}

 \frac{7x - 17}{12}  =  \frac{x - 1}{2}

14x - 34 = 12x - 12

14x - 12x = 34 - 12

2x = 22

x = 11

X/3 - 2/3 + X/4 - 3/4 = X/2 - 1/2

X/3 + X/4 - X/2 = -1/2 + 2/3 + 3/4

(4x + 3x - 6x)/12 =(-6 + 8 + 9)/12

X/12 = 11/12

X = 11
