It can be observed that BCD is a straight line.

So,
Angle ACD + Angle ACB = 180° {linear pair of angles}

130° + ACB = 180°
ACB = 180-130
ACB = 50°.

In ∆ ABC,
Given,
AB = AC
So,
Angle ABC = Angle ACB {Angle opposite to equal side are equal}

Angle ABC = 50°

Now,
A+B+C = 180°
A+50+50 = 180°
A+100 = 180°
Angle A = 180-100
Angle A = 80°
