Plz solve this Linear equations 4p +3q = 14 and 3p + 4q= 23 by elimination method

Answer:

4p+3q=14.......eq1

3p+4q=23.........eq2

multiplying by 3 in eq 1 and by 4 in eq 2 in order to eliminate the variable p

3(4p+3q) =3(14)

4(3p+4q) =4(23)

now

12p+9q=42

12p+16q=92

- - - ( changing signs)

-7q= -50

q= 50/7

on putting the value of q in eq 1

4p+ 3*50/7= 14

4p+150/7 = 14

(28p +150) *1/7 = 14

28 p +150= 98

28p = -52

p = -52/28

p = -13/7
