\textbf {Hey mate! <br /><br />Here's the solution....<br />}⤵⤵

 {x}^{2} + x - (a + 2)(a + 1)=0

Here the middle term is x
which can be also written as 1x...so,in the next step I have written the middle term as.....
( (a+2)-(a+1))x
=(a+2-a-1)x
=1x
so, here we get that ( (a+2)-(a+1))x=x
Thus, we can replace x by
( (a+2)-(a+1))x

 = &gt;{x}^{2} + {((a + 2) - (a + 1))}x - (a + 2)(a + 1)=0

 =&gt; {x}^{2} + (a + 2 )x - (a + 1)x - (a + 2)(a + 1)=0

 =&gt; x(x + a + 2) - (a + 1)(x + a + 2)=0

 =&gt; (x + a + 2)(x - a + 1)=0
so,
either
 (x + a + 2) =0
 =&gt; x =-a-2

or,
 (x - a + 1) =0
 =&gt; x =a-1

\textbf{I hope it helps you....}❤❤
