In dividend , 24m^4 -16m^2 we can take 8m^2 as common

ie. 24 m^4 - 16m^2 = 8m^2(3m^2- 2)

So (24m^4 - 16m^2)/ 8m^2

= 8m^2(3m^2- 2) / 8m^2

8m^2 of Both dividend and divisor gets cancelled to get

= 3m^2 -2

:. 24m^4-16m^2 ÷ 8m^2 = 3m^2 -2
