Given:-

  • DBE = 100°
  • Line l and m are parallel

To find:-

  • i) ABC
  • ii) BEF
  • iii) BEG

i) ABC = DBE = 100°

( Vertically opposite angles )

ii) BEF = DBE = 100°

(Corresponding Interior angles)

iii) BEG + BEF = 180°

(sum of angles on the straight line is equal to 180°)

BEG = 180 - 100

BEG = 80°

Given:-

  • DBE = 100°
  • l II m

Find:-

  • (i) ABC
  • (ii) BEF
  • (iii) BEG

Solution:-

(i) ABC = DBE = 100°

( Vertically opposite angles)

(ii) ∠BEF = DBE = 100°

(Corresponding Interior angles)

(iii) BEG + BEF = 180°

(sum of angles on the straight line is equal to 180°)

BEG + 100° = 180°

BEG = 180 - 100

BEG = 80°
