=> √(169 - x²/4)(x²/4)

Base of an isosceles triangle is 60 cm²

=> √(169 - x²/4)(x²/4) = 60

=> (169x²/4) - (x⁴/16) = 3600

=> x² = 100 (or) x² = 576

=> x = 10  or x = 24

Required base is 10 cm or 24 cm.
