11x+11y=66

11(x+y)=66

x+y=6......1

the numbers differ by 2,so,

x-y=2 or x-y=-2......2

add equation 1 and 2,

2x=8 or 2x=4

x=4,2

so y=2 ( when x is 4) or 4(when x is 2)

so the number is 24 or 42
