Answer:

160 cm × 90 cm = 14400 cm sq

in metre

14400÷100×100=1.44 metre square

Step-by-step explanation:

the edge is 15 cm on all sides so

length of painting is 130 and breadth is 60 but the frame has to cover the edge also so 15 up and 15 down and 15 sideways resulting for the length of the frame to be 130 +15 (up)+15(down)=160

and breadth to be 60 +15(on one side) +15( on other side)= 60

so the area of the frame required =160×90

hope it helps

Answer:

Length of the painting along with frame = 140 + 10 + 10 = 160 cm

Breadth of the painting along with frame = 80 + 10 + 10 = 100 cm

Area of cardboard required = 160×100=16000 cm2

=16000100×100=1.6 m2
