 \frac{x}{12}  -  \frac{1}{4} (x -  \frac{1}{3} ) =  \frac{1}{6} (x + 1) +  \frac{1}{6}  +  \frac{1}{6}  \\  \\  \frac{x}{12} - \frac{x}{4}  +  \frac{1}{12}  =  \frac{ x}{6}  +  \frac{1}{6}  +  \frac{1}{6}  \\  \\  \frac{x - 3x + 1}{12}  =  \frac{x + 1 + 1}{6}  \\  \\  \frac{ - 2x + 1}{12}  =  \frac{x + 2}{6}

Cross multiply

6( - 2x + 1) = 12(x + 2) \\  \\  - 12x + 6 = 12x + 24 \\  \\  - 12x - 12x = 24 - 6 \\  \\  - 24x = 18 \\  \\ x =   - \frac{18}{24}   \\  \\ x =  -  \frac{3}{4}
