average for 12 months=(X1+x2+........+x12)/12=160

(X1+x2+.......x12)=160*12=1920. (eq-1)

average of 8 months=(X1+x2+....+x8)/8=145

(X1+x2+.....+x8)=145*8=1140(eq 2)

from eq-1 we got the sum of usage in 12 months and from eq-2 we got the usage in 8 months

now by subtracting eq-2 from eq-1

1920-1140=780
