perimeter of isosceles triangle= sum of the all sides

equal sides are 12 cm

let third side be x cm

perimeter= a+b + c

30 = 12+12+ x

30 = 24 + x

30-24 =x

6 = x

third side of the isosceles triangle is 6 cm

by using pythagoras thereom

p²= h²-b²

p²= 12²- 6²

p² = 144 - 36

p = √ 108

p= 6 √3

now, area of triangle is = 1/2 * b* h

= 1/2 * 6* 6 √3

=3*6 √3

= 18 √3

Ans is 18√3
