Heya,
5(2x + 1) - 4(5x - 1) = 2(x - 6) - 4(6x - 5) + 8x [Multiply the numbers to remove the bracket first] (According to BODMAS rule)
10x + 5 - 20x + 4 = 2x - 12 - 24x + 20 + 8x [Add/Sub the variables]
- 10x + 5 + 4 = - 14x - 12 + 20 [Add/Sub the constants]
- 10x + 9 = - 14x + 8 [Move constants one side and variables to the another]
+ 9 - 8 = - 14x + 10x
+ 1 = - 4x [Move the +4 to the opposite side such that it forms x = y]
1/4 = - x
-1/4 = x
Hope my answer helps you :)
