given... AC=AE, AB=AD &BAD=EAC
to prove... BC=DE
as, BAD=EAC
on adding DAC on both sides
BAD+DAC=EAC+DAC
=BAC=EAD
now, in∆ABC&∆DEA
AB=AD
A=A..... common
AC=AE
by SAS congruence rule
∆ABC~=∆DEA
by CPCT
BC=DE
