2x-3y=9....(|)

2x+y=13....(||)

subtracting (|) from (||),we get

2x+y=13

-2x-3y=9

4y=4

_______

y=1

substitute value of y in (||),we get

2x-1=13

2x=12

x=6

Answer:

x=6

y=1
