Here, in order to find the value of x first of all we should make the bases equal.

As in both the side of the equation bases are in reciprocal so we shall make power negative of any one side to make bases equal.

{( \frac{p}{q} )}^{3x + 2}   =  {(\frac{q}{p})}^{2 - x}  \\  \\   \implies  {( \frac{p}{q} )}^{3x + 2}  =  {(\frac{p}{q} )}^{ - (2 - x)}  \\  \\  \implies  {( \frac{p}{q} )}^{3x + 2}  =  {(\frac{p}{q} )}^{ -2 + x}  \\  \\  \implies 3x + 2 =  - 2 + x \\  \\  \implies2x =  - 4 \\  \\  \implies \boxed{ x =  - 2}

After making equal base we can directly make the exponents equal and solve the linear Equations in one variable.
