Area of a ||gm = base × altitude.

For base AB, altitude is AE

So area = AB × AE

=> area = 8 × 4

=> Area = 32 cm²

We have to find the altitude for AD

For AD,

AD × altitude = area

Area would remain the same, as the figure is same.

=> Given AD = 6

=> 6 × altitude = 32

=> altitude = 32/6

=> altitude = 16/3 cm

Answer:

5.33 cm

Please mark the answer as "The Brainliest answer" if you like it

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of Parallelo gram = AB * AE

= 8 * 4 = 32 cm²

or Area = AD * AF

AF is altitude corresponding to AD

AD * AF = 32

6 * AF = 32

AF = 32/6

AF = 16/3

AF = 5.333 cm
