hilum-a hilum is a scar or mark left on a seed coat by the former attachment to the ovary wall or to the funiculus.
micropyle- when soaked in water the seed absorb the water mainly through the micropyle and make it available to the embryo for germination.
endosperms- it surrounds the embryo and provide nutrition in the form of the starch though it could contain oils and proteins. This can make endosperms a source of nutrition in human diet.
