HeY USER HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :-

7x - 5y = 17 ----------------(1)

3x + 7y = -11 --------------(2)

multiply (1) by 3 and (2) by 7

we get , 21x - 15y - 51 = 0 -------(3)

21x + 49y +77 = 0 --------(4)

Subtract (3) from (4)

21x - 15y - 51 = 0

21x + 49y + 77 = 0

(-) (-) (-)

------------------------------

- 64 - 128y = 0

-------------------------------

128y = -64

y = -64 / 128

y = -2

put this value of y in (1) or (2) to get x

we get , 7x - 5(-2) = 17

7x + 10 = 17

7x = 17-10

x = 7/7

x = 1

HOPE IT HELPS YOU !!!!!

Given eqns : 7x - 5y = 17 ......(1)
3x + 7y = - 11 ......(2)

Multiply by 3 in eq. 1 and by 7 in eq. 2

21x - 15y = 51 ......(3)
21x + 49y = -77 ....(4)

sub eq. 3 and 4

- 64y = 128
y = -2

put y = -2 in eq 2

3x + 7 × -2 = -11
x = 1

hence , x= 1 and y = -2

hope you will understand it...
