a) 3/7

Ans - Yes

Reason - Rational numbers are those numbers which can be written in the form of p/q where p and q are integers and p = 0.

b)123/478

Ans - Yes

Reason - Same as a)

c)1/1000

Ans - Yes

Reason - Same as a)

d) 0/68

Ans - Yes

Reason - Same as a)

e) 893/0

Ans - No

Reason - This is in the form of p/q but, to be a rational number, q should not be 0.

f) -8/9

Ans - Yes

Reason - This is in the form of p/q and -8 and 9 are integers.

g) -6/-25

Ans - Yes

Reason = Same as f)

h) 18/-25

Ans - Yes

Reason - This is in the form of p/q and 18 and -25 are both integers, where q is not 0

Hey mate your answer is...

a. 3/7 is a rational number because a rational is written in the form of p/q where Pand Q are integers and q is not equals to 0...

b. 123/478 is a rational no. reason is same as above...

c. 1/1000 is a rational number ..

d. 0/68 is a rational number ..

e. 893/0 is not a rational number because in a rational number q is not equals to 0..

f, g and h are also rational numbers

Hope it helped you....

ineedhelpwithmath: thanks!
