Hey There,

so firstly given

(α-β)=1

P(X)=x^{2}-7x+k

Now α+β=-b/a... 1

but we know that α-β=1

∴ α=β+1... 2

Now putting Eq2 in Eq 1

(β+1)+β=-(-7)/1= 7

1+2β=7

2β=7-1=6

β=6/2=3

By eq 2

α=β+1

α=3+1=4

∴ α=4

   β=3

now αβ=c÷a

∴ 4X3= k/1

∴ K=12

Hope It Helps
