the logical answer to this question is very simple leaves act like a rubber when you throw up to the wall it always get reflected sound waves also act like rubber as I said they get reflected on bouncing with walls or any other object if the wall is even that means there is no friction so sound wave is reflected with the same value which it was sent know where is absorbed various if it's a rough surface friction is present there are many bumpy things due to which sound wave is reflected but not the actual sound wave which was send a very little sound is because many of it is absorbed
