3/x - 2/y = 0

2/x + 5/y = 19

Let 1/x = u and 1/y = v

So, we get, 3u - 2v = 0,

Or, 3u = 2v

or, u = 2v/3 -------------(1)

Putting the value of u in equation 2

2u + 5v = 19 -------------(2)

2 (2v/3) + 5v = 19

4v/3 + 5v = 19

4v + 15v = 57

19v = 57

v = 57/19

v = 3

Putting the value of v in 1

Or, u = 2v/3

or, u = 2(3) / 3

or, u = 2

Hence we got u = 2 and v = 3

So, x = 1/2 and y = 1/3

Now putting the values of x and y in equation below

px + 3 = y

p/2 + 3 = 1/3

p/2 = 1/3 - 3

p/2 = (1-9)/3

p/2 = -8/3

p = -16/3
