x-2y + 2 = 0 ....1)
x+2y = 10 ...2)​

Answer:

From (1) equation x = -2+2y

Putting the value of x in (2)

-2+2y +2 y = 10

i.e. -2+4y= 10

i.e 4y = 12

i.e. y = 3

thus x = -2+2(3) = -2+6 = 4

Thus the value of x=4 and y = 3
